Through our intense collaboration with Lexus and Toyota, we contribute to new data-driven mobility services and breakthrough insurance products. We also ensure our insurance expertise is leveraged in value chain and total cost of ownership projects, including areas like collision management and anti-theft systems. As part of our AND-E group, we have also invested in a new R&D lab, which will be exploring predictive insurance and IA autonomous driving.

As the in-house car insurance expert for Lexus, we offer a wide range of insurance products ranging from traditional motor insurance from comprehensive to partial.
However, “Innovation” is also the core of Lexus DNA and we follow this approach in our business. That’s why we invest heavily in innovative and smart insurance products, with a clear focus on : Seamless, Simple and Transparent product. We aim to ultimately deliver added value to the customer, which could take many forms, whilst also contributing to a safer driving environment. And to CO2 emission reduction and encouraging customers to drive more safely.

This is the vision of our Aioi R&D Lab in Oxford, a joint venture between Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, AND-E (Lexus underwriters), and Mind Foundry, an Oxford university spin-off that develops AI for high-stake applications.

We’re proud to be a partner to Oxa, a leading autonomous vehicle software technology company. Through this partnership, we gain access to Oxa´s cutting-edge autonomous driving technology expertise, allowing us to accurately assess risks associated with autonomous driving.
This allows us to create tailored coverage for autonomous vehicle owners and streamline claims management using data-driven insights. Together with Oxa, we’re driving innovation and shaping the future of insurance for autonomous vehicles.
